Found this on Craigslist, might be helpful to some people out there.

Ever wonder why your life insurance premiums seem higher than you think they should be? Want to know how life settlement works and what type of health histories bring in larger settlement amounts?

I’ve been a life insurance underwriter for 14 years. I can tell you what health conditions and test results are considered favorable or unfavorable in the market.

If you want to know how your health history will be viewed BEFORE you contact your insurance agent or life settlement advisor then contact me. I can review your medical records and tell you the favorable and unfavorable factors that may effect your chances of obtaining a life insurance policy or a life settlement.

I charge $50.00 for a review of medical records up to 300 pages, $75.00 for a review up to 500 pages and $100.00 for records over 500 pages. Keep in mind this is a gross count regardless of the number of doctors these records came from. Additonally, I don’t check every page for duplicate information. If payment is made by bank check/money order sent along with the records I will return your records along with a copy of my review. If you send a personal check I will return your medical records within 72 hours but will wait one week before sending my review.

I do not order medical records you will need to provide copies of your medical records to me. I recommend records be sent to me with a return signature request. Medical records will be returned to the location of your choice via US mail, Fed Ex, or UPS with a return signature request(unless a PO box is used).

I do not need your name or social security number to complete this process just your sex and age and an address to return your records to. If you are concerned about your privacy black out your name and social security number where it appears in your records and send a money order/bank check instead of a personal check, and provide a PO box to return your records to (no return signature request in this case).

I do not copy, keep, or store records longer than it takes to review them so, depending on volume, records are usually returned to you within 72 hours.

I DO NOT sell insurance. I DO NOT diagnose medical conditions.

Life Settlement Testimonial

Here is a life settlement case example and testimonial.

Age of Insured: 76
Policy’s Face Value: Portfolio of $6,500,000
Sale Price: $1,993,000
Use: Sold company’s unwanted key-man insurance to fund new ventures rather than continuing to pay out-dated premiums.

Recently, James R, CFO of a mid sized national company, was doing due diligence for the acquisition of a competitor company. He found that the company being purchased owned two key man term life insurance policies on the current owner (age 76). The policies had a total face amount of $6,500,000. Typically, since the policies would no longer be needed and they were term policies with no cash value, the premiums would be a unnecessary additional expense. Read the rest of this entry »
